This is part of a series of landscapes. The reds and oranges of the ground may be obvious or sometimes under layers of other colors. Generally, there are only a few main colors in each painting with other colors achieved by mixing them.

About the Artist
I am Chris, son of Bob. Like most people, I have hobbies, but painting isn't a hobby. It's an obsession. I studied art and biology at Mercer University about 25 years ago and while I make my living teaching and talking and presenting biological concepts and information, I feel most comfortable putting paint to a canvas.
